This website

The website has no analytics, advertising, accounts, tracking cookies or document upload service. Fonts, scripts, styles and product images are served with the site. Interactive demonstrations run in your browser and do not transmit their contents.

If you choose a colour theme, your browser stores that preference locally under eng-theme. Clear the site’s local storage to remove it. The MARK web demonstration lives only in the current tab.

GitHub hosting

The site is intended for GitHub Pages hosting. GitHub may process technical connection information, including IP addresses, to operate its service. Downloads, when available, are hosted on GitHub Releases. GitHub’s handling of that information is described in its privacy statement.

The desktop application

Viewing, markup, PDF editing, image editing, vector tracing, conversion and PowerPoint generation run locally. The application has no user account, telemetry or cloud processing workflow, and it refuses network connections in its own code. Original drawing files are opened without modifying them. Exports are saved as new files you choose.

Local settings include your theme, recent folders and export preferences. A thumbnail cache speeds up browsing. Diagnostic logs can contain local paths and filenames. Review logs before attaching them to a public issue.

On macOS these files are stored in the standard Application Support, Caches and Logs folders under ENG Drawing Viewer in your user Library. Scans default to ~/Documents/ENG Drawing Viewer Scans. The thumbnail cache can be cleared in Settings; removing the app alone does not delete these folders. On Windows they are under %APPDATA% and%LOCALAPPDATA%, on Linux under ~/.config and~/.cache, each in an ENG Drawing Viewerfolder.

Optional offline AI

The Image Editor's Select Subject can use an AI model pack that you choose and install yourself. The app checks the pack's hash, runs it on your computer and never downloads a model by itself. Without a pack, nothing AI-related runs; one-click background removal is a conventional algorithm.

Optional local tools

Office-to-PDF conversion needs LibreOffice installed locally. Scan with iPhone uses Apple Continuity Camera and nearby Apple devices; Apple’s operating system services have their own privacy settings. Choosing that feature initiates the device interaction.

Support

GitHub Issues are public. Use fictional sample drawings, remove confidential details, and inspect screenshots and logs before posting. Never post credentials or private engineering documents.
